We had the best time on our honeymoon here. The view is fantastic, the beds are so comfortable, nice towels, AC, and the kitchen was fully equipped so we could do a little cooking. The staff were very friendly as well. An absolute gem of a place!

Had such a beautiful stay here. Only had one night, wish we could have stayed longer. The bed and omg that couch, SOO comfy! Had a great little kitchen too with everything you need. Towels, great big shower, and an amazing view. Location was a little bit out of town, but good central location for the whole island and bus stop right there! Palm beach is also soo beautiful and a 10min walk down. Arcadia cafe there too. The driveway is short but VERY steep, so maybe don't recommend for oldies, but it's a good little workout to work up an appetite for a day of eating and drinking 🙂 Overall loved it and would stay again!

It was just amazing. Really clean, modern and stylish rooms. We had the Kiwi suite and I must say, there is no better value for money on Waiheke. You have a nice kitchen and living room and even a big terrace where you can fit a few people. Loved it there!

This was the perfect little getaway location for anyone packing light and wanting to escape the commercial / city noise, yet still be within proximity to the islands town centre. The studio is self contained with all your needs - small kitchenette, netflix, wifi, comfy firm bed, bar fridge with a small freezer compartment, air fryer, stand alone laundry unit on the property, decent sized wardrobe and ironing board and a deck with a view. If you’re not a serial holiday planner like myself, you’ll appreciate the accom manual that nicely summarises the island attractions and local recommendations (my partner and I booked Casita Miro, a Spanish cuisine restaurant and dinner was an easy 10/10 experience). The studio is nestled in a quiet, secluded area with a view of the island you can enjoy literally from your bed (my fav part). The bathroom is a spacious walk in, very clean and equipped with all the female necessities (hair dryer, body wash etc). Check in was super easy, host was hospitable, easy to contact and managed to connect us with a local taxi which made the trip that bit more convenient! Otherwise there’s a bus stop on the main, right across the road from the property. Overall stay was exactly what we were looking for transitioning into the festive season. I highly recommend and will definitely be booking again.

Lovely, modern accommodation with comfy bed and couches, nice amenities, linen etc. Host was great to deal with. We had a car which was ideal as wanted to explore the island. Walked to beautiful palm beach (10min) for swims and some nice bush tracks either side. People with difficulty walking may struggle with steep drive but no issue for us. Thank you.

Loved this accommodation, stylish, well thought out, had everything Ii needed, quiet, and lovely to watch all the birdlife.

We love it!!!!! The accommodation was absolutely stunning and very comfortable. Everything cleaned and the view from balcony was gorgeous. The place was very close to a bus stop and to the palm Beach approximately 10min walk also to the Oneroa beach was approximately 20min by bus. I definitely recommend this beautiful place. We definitely come back:):) P.S I use all to get here the public transport or walk and it was great but if you come by viecle you must need 4×4 viecle to down to get the car park as there is a very steep slope.

This place was amazing (once you got used to the driveway) - the actual accommodation exceeded our expectations. Like you get the pictures and think that looks good but when we got there it was like WOW. Great space and equipment in the unit.

The host was welcoming and very responsive. Beautiful views and a great location! Be aware: when the listing says “steep driveway” it isn’t what you are thinking. You have to take small mincing steps down. It’s a VERY steep angle and the pictures don’t do it justice! It’s only a problem if you have elderly or very young kids with you!

This is an awesome place!! Very clean, super private and peaceful. The host is very responsive, helpful, and kind, we felt very looked after. The beds are very comfy, and the rooms have a great vibe. The living room/kitchen has great flow, and the furniture is awesome! Great style. The bathroom is great too, very modern and clean. Our favourite part was the beautiful view from the windows, and how the sliding doors allowed the space to open up out onto the deck. Will definitely be staying here again!

An excellent location within walking distance of both Palm Beaches, bus stops, and (mostly) downhill to both Oneroa and Surfdale. Only drawback is the steep walk up the drive. Very clean and nice accommodation with kitchen and laundry. Will stay again when next in NZ. All needed items were in the flat, including cleaning supplies, laundry soap, kitchen dishes, and toilet supplies.

This is a truly unique experience. The owner has created “Pods” that are individual units at the end of a steep drive into this hidden valley. The Pod is new with all the amenities that you need. Every detail has been considered such from the booklet created by Jonathan for the guest. A home away from home in a spectacular setting.

We had a wonderful stay, couldn't have asked for more. Clean, modern and warm. Easy to deal with as well, great communication.

The pods in this Hidden valley are most wonderful. Totally quiet and yet perfectly located: there’s a bus stop at the top of the hill; beautiful palm beach is a mere 700 m away. Listen to the pheasants and all the other birds, kick back and enjoy the view. We’ve felt deeply relaxed during our stay. Loved it!! Thanks again!

The dream pod was the perfect accommodation for my wife and I to enjoy a weekend out of the big city! Very tranquil and stylish for a special few days away. The pods are very well located on the island and the whole experience definitely exceeded our expectations. Hopefully we can get back again sometime.

Had a fabulous stay at Hidden Valley! The pod was cosy, peaceful and beautiful inside, and the view was incredible. The location was great, right next to the bus stops and not far from the beach. Can’t wait to return!

Stayed in the Snooze pod (studio) last weekend for two nights. This place is sensational! The accommodation is in a tranquil, sheltered setting with lush fit outs. Very cosy and nice to sleep in. Wake up, roll up the blind and sit in bed with a coffee taking in the views - best start to your day! Location is second to none with the island's best beach a short stroll down the hill and bus stops in both directions at the top of the driveway. The car hire option was the icing on the cake - we hired the car and the process was effortless. I'd come back in a heartbeat! Highly recommended A+++

We had an absolute blast at Hidden Valley. Staying here was a real treat for us to get out of the hustle and bustle of Auckland for a few days to relax and explore. These luxury pods are exceptionally well built and styled, inside and out. The host attended to the finest details going above and beyond, giving us in-depth knowledge of the local area and the best attractions Waiheke has to offer. With an on-site self hire 4WD, you really can’t fault the service and accomodation. I found this particularly innovative, saving us the struggle of car hire! We will definitely be returning to Hidden Valley, it offers incredible private views from the bedroom and lounge nestled within a large private section. Thank you so much to the staff, we look forward to the next adventure with Hidden Valley 🙂

A Modern Oasis on Waiheke Island! I recently had the privilege of staying at this incredible spot, and I cannot express how impressed I was with every aspect of my experience. If you're searching for a luxurious, modern getaway, look no further because this place is an absolute gem! The open-concept living space is an absolute dream. The living room features comfortable, designer furniture that invites you to unwind and relax. The large windows flood the space with natural light during the day, offering stunning views during sunset. At night, the ambient lighting creates an intimate and cozy atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. One of the standout features of this flat is its location. Situated right off the bus line in the center Waiheke Island, it offered the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. It was just a short drive to some of the island's renowned vineyards, stunning beaches, and charming hikes, making it an ideal base for exploring all that Waiheke has to offer. Jonathan's hospitality was exceptional. He was prompt in his communication, offered valuable local tips, and ensured that my stay was seamless from start to finish. A great place to stay! I had a wonderful time with my family. We lived in Pod 1 with two bedrooms and one of them has a big window with a beautiful view. The pod is very clean and cozy. It has all the kitchenware we need for cooking simple meals. One of the best places to stay in Waiheke Island for sure.

Great stay at hidden valley! We booked these brand new pods for a night in Waiheke and we really enjoyed it. Beautifully clean and well appointed place, with everything you need for a relaxing stay! Our host Jonathan suggested we did the 10 min walk down to the beach which lovely and relaxing with a great cafe to get a cheeky coffee. Definitely will be back.

What a fabulous time at Hidden Valley. We loved staying at the private 2 bedroom pod which was spacious, whilst still feeling cosy. Complete with all amenities, super comfy king bed and the perfect picture window to gaze out of in the living room, wine glass in hand, it was the perfect night away from Auckland. A sculpture & sacred garden right around the corner, or only 10minute walk to Cafe Arcadia and the Beach not much further, what more could you need? In a convenient location, the host, Jonathan was great to deal with and provided well informed directions. With an additional pod next door, it’s the perfect getaway for a couple or a bigger group, can’t wait to return!

Wow. Just wow. Jonathan was a brilliant host and very welcoming. The accomodation was very clean, very comfortable and very unique. Brilliant morning sunrise views through an enormous window from the main bedroom. A++ and would stay again without a second thought.

What an awesome little spot to retreat on Waiheke isle. Quiet little valley not far from the main road you just wouldnt know was there. Vehicle access is down a steep drive but have plenty parks at bottom. Dynamic hosts popped around in passing to check all was well and answer some local knowledge questions ... we stayed in the one beddie, great sleep, very clean and would recommend it for a couple. Cabin next over was a bigger place for a family but didnt view it. 5 stars.

Amazing pod accomodation with a beautiful outlook across the valley. I stayed in the smaller yet generous sized room with a just as generous bathroom with a lovely balcony and doors that opened up to let a nice breeze through on some super hot summer days. A great location with some of the best beaches and vineyards only a short drive away. I will be back to stay very soon!

Stayed in the dream pod while working on Waiheke, it is a great spot, very quiet and relaxing. Bus routes at the top of the drive make it easy to get around.

We enjoyed the wonderful, clean, modern pod accommodation. We also made sure we kept the blinds up so we were able to capture some magic sunrises from the comfort of the super comfortable double bed. The balcony was an amazing sun trap for soaking up some rays while reading a book. There was convenient parking for us down the bottom of the driveway with easy turnaround abilities. We loved swimming at Palm beach and grabbing a 1st class coffee from the local store. We also dined at the local restaurant Arcadia which was a two minute drive away from the house. It has an amazing menu that won’t disappoint. We will definitely be looking to rent this accommodation in the future.

I recently stayed in Pod 2 at Hidden Valley Waiheke and was thoroughly impressed! The place was clean, well-appointed, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed. The interior was modern and stylish, with a contemporary design that made me feel right at home. The furniture was top-notch and the appliances were up-to-date, making the space both comfortable and functional. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the local hotspots. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in the area.
